Program Overview
The Master of Science (MSc) degree program in Thermo-Fluid Engineering is designed to the needs of the 21st Century required for various sectors; like energy- hydro and thermal power, refrigeration and air conditioning, textile and agro based industries, etc. to graduate with the necessary skills and understanding in the thermal and fluid engineering subjects with computational and engineering research techniques to design and develop integrated thermal and fluid systems. The program aims at
(i) Imparting in depth the technical knowledge and skills across the discipline of Thermo- Fluid Engineering and their applications
(ii) providing breadth to encourage innovators
(iii) Facilitating exposure to other engineering disciplines
(iv) Developing and enhancing research skills. Upon graduation Students are expected to have the capacity for meaningful interdisciplinary interaction, a leadership role, and professional growth.
